Acupuncture uses ultra fine needles inserted into specific points on the body along energetic meridians. By doing an in-depth intake through the lens of Chinese medicine a working diagnosis is determined which then evolves into an individual treatment plan. This form of medicine focuses on treating the root of the issue while incorporating mind, body and spirit. There a myriad of diseases and conditions for which acupuncture is an appropriate treatment option. The body of research in support of acupuncture is extensive and expanding. Acupuncture can work beautifully in conjunction with western medicine.
